While looking for some extra points at MobyGames, I’ve noticed how the Mega Drive/PAL (and most likely, also the NTSC) cover of the all-time classic Prince of Persia looks like. The game isn’t remotely as good as the original DOS version (in fact, I’ll add it is downright awful), but what makes the game worth writing about is this:
The cover.
While in the original version the prince is indeed a slightly blonde guy dressed in white, giving it a bit more thought it resembles something else:

Same outfit (take some sleeve length), a sword (which a friend of mine suggested that would be a bit painful in the Prince’s case – after all, he’s keeping it inside his pants), same blonde-ish hair, and apparently doing a Force push on the poor bastard. Or a Force Grip, as he’s apparently dead or in pain, and the sword even haven’t touched him.
Not Enough? Allright, let’s have another peek at the image

Is it me, or do princess like to wear burgundy bathing suits? Or the cover artist was casually looking at a Star Wars marathon at the telly while working on it? Or are these just a bunch of coincidences put together?
